A very successful day with 20 teams as far south as Cowichan Bay. Also teams from Salt Spring Island, Powell River and Cortez Island participated. 450 participants with at least as many support spectators made this a great day; the parking lot picture shows a small fraction of the people that showed up for this event..
Floyd Ross noted that a very good job was done by everyone involved. Approximately 20 club members, non members, and board members participated and completed all items on the work list. The Tyee Club will be in good shape to begin this year's season. All involved should be proud of what was accomplished.

The Tyee Club Net Pen project was a success again this year, with the fish being released on May 1st. Mortality was extremely low, growth satisfactory and it was reported there were no predators (Bonaparte gulls, seals) around when the net was turned over.
