Tyee Club’s 100th Anniversary – Online Fundraising Auction

Auction Items

Item 1: In keeping with tradition, we are auctioning a ‘one of a kind’ vintage Sterling Silver spoon with a 10k gold Tyee Club button. In 1935, 12 sterling spoons were donated to the Tyee Club by the directors to be awarded weekly to the angler registering the largest Tyee during the season. These spoons were discontinued between 1939 and 1944. This item was designed according to tradition by Terry Venables.

Item 2: A 1.8” hand crafted Tyee Club pendant in Arctic Fox Sterling Silver, with inlaid blue enamel. Designed and hand crafted by Terry Venables, of Venables Goldsmith of Sidney, BC.

Item 3: A 50th anniversary yearbook owned and recorded in, by Betty Davis.  This special edition 1973/74 yearbook is important to the history of the Tyee Club because of the member it belonged to.

Item 4: an Arctic Fox Sterling Silver salmon pin detailed and hand carved as inspired by the Tommy Brayshaw carving that hangs in the clubhouse. Designed and hand crafted by Terry Venables, of Venables Goldsmith of Sidney, BC.
