Tyee Club maximum size limit regulation notice
July 15th, 2019
To All Tyee Club Members and Anglers,
Due to concerns for the health of Fraser River Chinook stocks the DFO has immediately regulated a maximum size limit on Chinook caught in Area 13 and others. The maximum size Chinook that may be retained until August 1st is 80 cm., which is a fish that will certainly weigh less than 30 pounds. This will require our Members and Anglers to release any Tyee class fish they may capture during the first 17 days of our annual tournament.
Please stay alert for any further in season changes of DFO regulations that impact our fishery.
Sincerely,
Randy Killoran
President, Tyee Club of BC
