SUMMARY:Youth Community Night - Volunteer Guides Required
DESCRIPTION:The Tyee Club is hoping to engage youth in our community that would not otherwise have the opportunity to experience angling in the Tyee Pool.  The committee has developed the idea of hosting a youth night where participants will experience an evening row with one of our members in exchange for clubhouse fundraising for their seat in the boat. \nWe are hoping to involve the Rotary Club with this event given its community outreach foundation.  We are seeking 10-15 Volunteer Rowboat Guides (providing a rowboat and fishing gear) for this event: \n• 10-15 boats\, 10-15 youth and their mentors\, 10 years and older\n• One night only August 17\, 2019 \nThe event will begin with hot dogs\, snacks and drinks being served at the Tyee Clubhouse between 6:00 – 7:00pm.  Fishing occurs between 7:15 – 9:30pm. \nPlease signup on the website under <Member Portal><Volunteer>.
